Three B Transportation was founded in 1980 by Pete Bruno, a long time sales representative in the freight industry.

In 1982, Barry Desumma, a young and energetic individual become the cornerstone of the operations team. Barrys primary responsibility is to see all the functions of the corporation are geared to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

In 1991, the company paired with two veterans of the freight industry, Joe Piotrowski and Jim Christiano in 1998. Three B transportation capabilities into various directions. The company now handles freight for major pipe, lumber, and machinery companies in and around the Philadelphia region. The company also transitioned into handling temperature controlled freight as well as blanket wrapped loads, which concentrated on the trade show industry.

Rounding out the expansion was Patty Alvare in 2012 and Joe Bruno in 2011. This group of professionals gave a fresh perspective that will keep the company evolving in an industry that seems to be in a constant state of change.
